Writer's Bio: Duane P. Craig
• Writer since the age of six years old, Duane gained his first influences from authors such as Philip K. Dick, Stephen King and Dean R. Koontz. It may not have been the best parenting, but Duanes father knew that his son was bright, intellectual and definitely had enough discipline to know right from wrong good from bad. There was never a question of something being too scary because the focus was only on what was entertaining, what was liked about the characters and what devices made the story fun be they suspense, intensity or just the dialogue.
• Duanes first script ever written in December of 2003 is in fact The Hurting Kind, though he has written five other feature scripts, seven short scripts, three treatments and his first novel since that time. A self-proclaimed writer, first and foremost, Duane has even helmed his first feature film entitled, CRUEL also from a script he wrote. CRUEL is a true-to-form, silent horror film, modern as it takes place in the present day, but its filmed just like the earliest, silent films of the 1900s.
•Duane is also a somewhat accomplished FX technician having done several short films, student films and is now venturing into doing FX for indie-budget, feature films as well. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2816332/
